Once again we are partnering with renowned Urban Sketcher, Peter Richards @pr_designthinkingdrawings to offer an urban sketching tour in regional areas of Japan visiting the former Samurai strongholds Kanazawa and Matsumoto and the idyllic well preserved former post town Narai-Juku on the Nakasendo samurai trail which are wonderful backdrops for unique Japanese urban sketching workshops. Not just about urban sketching, this tour also offers the opportunity to learn about Japanese history, culture and design by combining visits to museums, galleries and other significant places in and around these once powerful and wealthy samurai bastions during the feudal Edo Period. This tour is also open to companions who are not sketchers. There is something for everyone.

This tour will spend 1 night in Tokyo, 3 nights in Kanazawa and 3 nights in Matsumoto. You will experience:
